Bateson, George C. Auburn, Michigan Mr. Bateson passed away suddenly Saturday evening November 3, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 80 years. The son of the late George 'Jack' & Gladys (Coleman) Bateson, he was born August 15, 1932 in Bay City. George served with the United States Air Force. George is survived by his wife; Geraldine C. Bateson, two daughters and one son-in-law; Bonni J. Bateson and Autumn D. (Keith) Johnson, one son; George A. (Delia) Bateson, several grandchildren, one brother; Frank Bateson, one sister and brother-in-law; Janice “Sis” and Dennis Curtice and many nieces and nephews. At the request of Mr. Bateson Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
