Chiavaras, Carol Lee Bay City, Michigan Carol passed away Saturday evening November 3, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 76 years. The daughter of the late Walter and Donna (Kratz) Bublitz was born April 4, 1936 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She retired as a case worker from the Bay County Friend of the Court after thirty seven years of service, was a member of the American Legion Post 18 Ladies Auxiliary, an avid bowler and enjoyed a trip to the casino. She is survived by one son; Ken Geister II and his fiancé Christy Ogles-Campbell, her special friend; Bud Lesser, one granddaughter; Nikki Warner, one great granddaughter; Cadince , one sister-in-law; Delores (Bublitz) Gentle, two nephews; Eric Bublitz and Mark Bublitz. She was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Chiavaras in 1987, her parents; Walter and Donna and one brother; Donald Bublitz. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private Entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw, MI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the “Wishes of the Family” will be available at the funeral home.
