Paul Brooks Pytlik

Pytlik, Paul Brooks Bay City, Michigan Our beloved husband, father and brother passed away peacefully Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence. Age 60 years. Paul was born April 5, 1951 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He was formerly employed at SC Johnson Company as a Technician and was a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 88. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed softball, golf, darts, fishing, boating snowmobiling, riding his Harley and playing on the Bay City Mad Dog's Team. Paul was a good friend and his love and kindness touched the lives of many people. On March 26, 1977 he married his loving wife of thirty four years the former Becky J. Foster and she survives his passing. Paul was an amazing father to two daughters that he adored; Sara (Steve) Moak and Laura Pytlik. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Thomas and Jean Pytlik, his father-in-law; Max Foster, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Suzanne Foster, Todd and Rita Foster and Kim and Alan Collar, many nephews and his best pals Buddy and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry and Patricia (Boughton) Pytlik and his mother-in-law; Betty J. (Buss) Foster. The Pytlik family would like to extend a special thank you to Kathy and Heartland Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Paul during his illness. A Celebration of His Life will take place Thursday evening July 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Officiating will be Pastor Paulette Cummings. At the request of Paul cremation has taken place. The family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and until the time of service to receive family and friends.
