Alan Lee Andress

Alan passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the age of 29. He was born on Sunday, August 22, 1993 to Robert Andress and Angelia (Adams) Davis in Bay City, Michigan. He was known for his beautiful eyes and smile that could light up the room. His love was unconditional for his sons. He loved everyone, even if they didn’t deserve it. He loved the outdoors and never backed down from an adventure. He cleaned up nice, some would call him a ladies’ man and he enjoyed new boujee outfits. Alan enjoyed spending time with his fiancé, Brittnie and their cat. Family was everything to him, he always found a way to bring everyone together and maintained the relationships he shared. He also enjoyed working and was an amazing painter, his jobs were always flawless. Alan loved tattoos and was the main character. His dad made knives while he was growing up and passed down that hobby to Alan. He loved playing pool and occasionally going out with his friends and meeting new people. He had such an encouraging personality and knew how to make everyone laugh. He was outgoing, sociable, and made friends with everyone he came across.

Alan is survived by his parents, Angelia (John) Davis and Robert (Kelly) Andress; siblings, Amber, Annie, Sage, Robbie, Kaycie, Trisha, Ashley, Samantha and Curtis Lee; children, Keaton and Toby; fiancé, Brittnie Nolfo; grandmother’s, Susan Anderson and Debra (Fred Schmidt) Stoddard; special uncle Eric Adams and auntie Crystal Schnell and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews, whom he adored and loved so very much. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane (Dennis) Poyer; grandfather, Mike Schnell and best friend, Cody Kott.

A time of sharing will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until the time of sharing.
