Aloysius "Al" Anthony Kalinowski

Mr. Kalinowski passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Sheffield Bay at the age of 96. Born June 4, 1924 in Fisherville, Michigan to the late Walter and Mary (Kotewa) Kalinowski and loving husband of the late Mary (Przybylski), who left his side August 9, 2004. Al was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene and his sisters, Cecelia (Daskey) Shudark and Lottie Gunther.
Al is survived by his children, Linda (Rob) Duchene, Alan (Maggie), Jeff (Tina), Lisa (Scott) Bis and Dennis (Pam). Al leaves behind eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Particularly fond of children, Al often commented that they were "the future". Al was a Marine World War II Veteran of the Pacific War, serving as a gunner. His life work was devoted to Dow Chemical of Midland, Michigan. He was also a talented artist and lifelong gardener.
A private graveside service will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery in Fisherville with Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council.  Contributions can be directed to the VFW Fund or to the charity of your choice.
