Amber Brianne Eastman

Amber Brianne Eastman, our daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, friend and now our sweet angel, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, April 15, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region, age 32. She was born on February 15, 1984 in Midland. Amber attended Western High School and Delta College. A hard worker that had a knack for clothing, she operated Amber's Fashions Resale Shop in Bay City. Amber loved her dog, Chloe and would often play dress-up with her too. She enjoyed swimming and had always wanted to swim in the ocean. Amber was a giving person, always willing to give all she could to those in need, and she was also a true believer in the Lord.
Amber will be dearly missed by her parents, Debra Eastman and Denny (Gwen) Eastman; her sister and best friend, Jill Brooks; her brother, Travis (Shalyn) Eastman; two step-brothers, Jonah Eastman and Taylor Ripke; two step-sisters, Mariana Eastman and Kelsey Hollies; and her special friend, Rudy. Amber loved and adored her nieces and nephews, always attended their events and she is now guardian angel to, Arron, Layla and Ava Brooks and Alexis, Madelyn and Jackson Eastman. She is also survived by her grandfather, James Ripke; a special aunt, Sally Schroeder; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Amber was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard and Margie Eastman and Mary Ripke; and her step-mother, Denise Eastman.
The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Floyd Church of God, 1015 W. Chippewa River Rd., Midland, MI 48640. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Scheller with interment following at Homer Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Amber will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
