Andrea K. Klawinski

Ms. Andrea Kay Klawinski, age 74 of Bay City, Michigan passed away on March 11, 2026 with family by her side. Andrea was born January 19, 1952 in Bay City. She graduated in 1970 from Bay City All Saints and continued her education at Delta College. Andrea worked for the United States Post Office for over 40 years. She loved her job, always interacting with her customers, who became like family to her. Seeing dogs running to catch her mail truck, knowing they would receive a treat from Andrea, was a common event. Andrea’s nieces and nephews were the light of her life. Her greatest joy was time spent with family. Andrea was known as the life of the party. Whenever she was around laughter was guaranteed.

Andrea is survived by her significant other, Dave Laur; five siblings, Pauline (Rick) Dishaw, Robert (Minx) Klawinski, Lawrence (Karen) Klawinski, Richard (Judi) Klawinski and Kathleen Strain; nine nieces and nephews, Maegan (Jake), Kayla (Abe), Kyle, Roman (Jacqui), Brad (Alexis), Raleigh, Zac (Emily), Peyton (Allison Ann) and Cade (Alexis). Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joan (Rabideau) Klawinski; brother, David Klawinski and her brother-in-law, Dr. Eric Strain.

At the request of Andrea, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, All Saints Parish or a charity of your choice.
