Angela Dawn Miller, better known to her family and friends as Angie, Buggy, Sissy, A-Miller, and most importantly, Mom went home to be with the Lord at 5:29 a.m. on April 4, 2026. She was born August 8, 1986 to Carla LaRoche and Brian Miller at Bay Osteopathic Hospital in Bay City, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barb LaRoche, Ilene Miller, Robert LaRoche and Robert Miller and her very special uncle, Donnie. She is survived by her four children, Nevaeh, Xavier, Cortez and Bentley and their father, Leon Alvarado; her parents, Carla LaRoche and Brian Miller; her brothers and sisters, Tara (TJ) Holmes, Sarah (Matt) Lampka, Travis (Kaitlyn) Britton and Michael Miller and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends.
Angie spent her entire life serving others. She made a career out of serving the elderly by working as a managing cook at the Carriage House Nursing Home for the past 20 years, where her residents adored her.
She was a child of God and from a very young age believed in eternal life. As a little girl she would often take the church bus to Sunday School and come back home to proudly announce that she was baptized again. She never lost her faith in the Lord and we know he embraced her with open arms.
Angie’s biggest joy in life was being a mom to her four beautiful children. You could always find her at any event they had going on and always with a smile and pride.
To know her was to know love. Whether it was her warm embrace, infectious smile, or her hilarious personality, she was a force to be reckoned with. She was always the brightest light in the room and will be remembered by everyone she came in contact with as such. She was a one of a kind soul and will always be our girl.
