Annette passed away Wednesday evening, July 29, 2015 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late Thaddeus and Gertrude (Piesik) Maciejewski was born June 4, 1943 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of St. Gabriel Parish-West Campus St. Anthony's. Annette worked for many years at Saginaw Knitting Mills and Auburn IGA. She volunteered her time at the Humane Society of Bay County. She had a great love for her grandchildren, enjoyed making puzzles with her sister and playing scrabble. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband; Joseph L. Swiencicki whom she married June 1, 1963, two daughters and two sons-in-law; Jennifer and Mark Steih, Kathleen and Thomas Palmer, her grandchildren; Rachel and Katelyn Steih, Hannah and Joshua Palmer and one brother; Carl Maciejewski. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister; Ellen Neveau. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish-East Campus St. Joseph's 84 W. Midland Rd., Auburn, MI. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Thomas E. Sutton with the Rite of Committal following in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Annette will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
