Our beloved mother, cherished grandmother, special aunt, and dear friend, Ardythe Mae Biskupski passed away peacefully Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 94. Heaven welcomed a beautiful angel. Ardy was born March 1, 1931 in Bay City to the late Arthur and Anna (Englehardt) Kesemeyer.
Ardy married Eugene (Pete) Biskupski with whom she shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised three children; Mark (Karen) Biskupski, Lori (Mike) Bukowski, and Jodi (John) Zawacki. She loved being a mother and felt that motherhood was God’s calling for her life. She loved her family deeply and fervently and they loved her. She was privileged to be the matron of honor at her granddaughter’s wedding. Most everyone that met her described her as a saint. She was a kind, thoughtful, and empathetic soul. She was an avid reader and loved to read mysteries and faith based novels.
Ardy was a member of the LWML and volunteered many years in the church office at Zion Lutheran Church. There she served and encouraged many members and the staff. Ardy loved her church and its school, she was devoted in her faith, and she loved music whether it was singing, humming, or just listening. She lived her faith and set an exemplary example in the art of forgiveness.
Ardy’s legacy continues as she is survived by her children, grandchildren; Peter (Sonya), Andy (Mariah), John, Alex (Marena), Jaime, Steve (Lynsey), Ben, Katie (Tyler), and Sierra (Seth), and twelve great grandchildren, Malakai, Sophia, Adriana, Layla, Ryan, Hudson, Charli, Ellie, Grace, Van, Levi, and Margaret, many nieces and nephews, and extended family, Devin Heck and Regi Parsons.
Ardy was greeted in paradise by her beloved husband, Pete, her parents, her sisters, Mathilda (Warren) Kolb, Arlene (Bob) Henderson, Dorothy (Erv) Loessel, Viola (Vic) Skrzypczak, and her twin brother Arthur Kesemeyer; granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Biskupski; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Don & Evie Spychalski and Bob and Barb Sursely and special goddaughter, Gail Haiderer.
Ardy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Sheffield Bay and to Americans Hospice Care for the excellent care and kindness that Ardy and her family received during her time there.
Funeral Service for Ardy will be taking place on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with a private interment at Floral Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Baerwolf. The family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions to Zion Lutheran Church or Family Life Radio.
