Arlene H. Schalk

Arlene passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, August 3, 2022 at the Nottingham Place in Midland, Michigan at the age of 90. She was born on December 5, 1931 to the late Howard Reinhardt and Bertha Heppner in Bay City, Michigan. She was a loving mother of 7, who also loved to go blueberry picking and camping with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, making quilts, knitting and doing puzzles.
Arlene is survived by her children, Howard (Linda) Schalk of Bay City, Bonnie (Richard) Gallandt of Bay City, Ed (Sherry) Schalk of Bay City, Jeffrey (Linda) Schalk of Kawkawlin and Patrick Schalk of Pinconning; many-many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Donna) Stein of Bay City and sister, Barbara Mikowski of Bay City. In addition to her parents, Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Schalk; son, Clarence Schalk Jr.; daughter, Marion Kuehnemund; two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation for Arlene will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the family.
