Arthur G. Walker

Arthur passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at HealthSource Saginaw at the age of 59 years. Arthur was born in Goodrich, Michigan on March 9, 1959 to the late Frederick and Betty Jean (Schartzer) Walker. He worked for General Motors for 18 years and also drove school bus for Mt. Morris schools for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, movies and was a huge NASCAR fan and loved Jeff Gordon.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Josh Gilbert) Walker-Swedorski and Amie (Matt) Kiner; grandchildren, Kenneth Walker, Andrew and Derek Kiner; brother, Michael Walker; sister, Susan Cocke; nephews, Collin Brown-Walker, Jason (Crystal) Saidoo and Noah Cocke. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Frederick and Doug Walker.
Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with military honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell. At the request of Arthur cremation will take place following the service. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
