Ashley Lynn Tober

Ashley Lynn Tober, 71, passed away peacefully at McLaren Bay Region on Saturday, January 7, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Ashley was born on January 25, 1951 to Ashley H. and Laura (Sheller) Talbot in Bay City, Michigan. After she graduated from T.L. Handy High in 1969, she continued her education at Delta College. Ashley worked for many years as a bank teller at Financial Edge Credit Union and Saginaw County Employee Credit Union. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the F.O.P. Lodge 103 Ladies Auxiliary. Hosting events and cooking for her friends and family were some of her passions. She also loved traveling, attending community events and listening to live music.
Ashley was predeceased in death by her parents, Ashley and Laura, and her brother, Jerry Jack Beffrey. She is survived by her son, Mark (Nicole) Tober; grandchildren, Lincoln and Vance Tober; former husband, Thomas Tober; sister, Kay Banaszak; brother, Arthur (Sandy) Beffrey and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her lifelong friend Mary Bosco.
Funeral services will be held at Gephart Funeral Home on January 21, 2023 at 1:00pm. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Baerwolf. The family will be available to receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Zion Lutheran Church.
