Augustine Selvaraj

Augustine passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his family by his side at the age of 55. He was born May 5, 1966 in Madras, India to C. Rajanayagam and R. Lalitha Annapushpam. Augustine was very giving and was always trying to help people. He was a strong believer in education who encouraged everyone to stay in school. He enjoyed reading books in Tamil, listening to classic Indian music, going on his daily walks by the Saginaw River with his dog, going on cruises and taking pictures.

Augustine is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carrie Selvaraj; son, Noah Selvaraj; mother, R. Lalitha Annapushpam; sister, Stella Gideon; brother, J.R. Stephen (Reeta Stephen) Jebaraj; and father-in-law, Thomas Lipkea. He is preceded in death by his father, C. Rajanayagam.

At the request of Augustine, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Joshua Rager. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions by check may be made out to Monitor Lanes with "BCW Bowling Program" on the memo line.
