Barbara C. Wilson

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away Saturday evening, August 27, 2016 surrounded by her family. Age 78 years. The daughter of the late Charles and Muriel (Cole) Wilson was born May 19, 1938 in Detroit, MI. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Northville. Barb retired from Pratt-Whitney Aircraft. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing bingo, coloring and reading. Left behind to cherish her memories is her children and their spouses, Diane and Rick Young, Laurie Decker, Jeffrey and Emmaline Begley, Charles and Jean Begley, Patricia and Tom Beson, Marion Jean and Scott Galea, Jennifer and Jerry Ronk, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Marion Phelps. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Alisha Begley and Colleen Jean, two sons-in-law, Mike Decker and Don "Butch" Sweetman and one brother-in-law, Phillip Phelps. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor James Payne with interment following in Grant Township Cemetery in Gagetown, MI. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends on Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
