Benneth John Lutz

Mr. Lutz passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Symphony Tri Cities with his family by his side at the age 79. He was born in Bay City, Michigan June 23, 1944 to the late, Oscar and Sophia (Roth) Lutz. Benneth enjoyed woodworking, hunting, the outdoors, listening to polka music and watching the Detroit Tigers.

Benneth is survived by his daughters, Julie (Bruce II) Lange, Cristi (Scott) Smith, Joni (Robert) Green and Trisha Lutz; Grandchildren, Bruce III, Nicholas, Jasmine and Samantha Lange, Fischer (Myah) Smith, Cody (Brooke) Yocum, Malachi Green and Notoria (Alex) Green; great grandchildren, Lanie Lange, Ellie and Owen Yocum and Snow McDaniel; siblings, Delmar Lutz, Lou (Richard) Feinauer, Mary (Allen) Revord and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Benneth is preceded in death by his siblings, Junior (Betty) Lutz, Barbara Lutz, Vernetta (Howard) Weiss, Gerald Lutz, Elden Lutz, Dorraine Lutz; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 P.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Gauthier with interment following at St. John’s Lutheran of Amelith Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. John’s Lutheran Church of Amelith Building Fund or the wishes of the family will be available at the church.
