Bethany D. Kimmel

Bethany passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Covent HealthCare – Harrison at the age of 62. The daughter of the late Galen and Virginia (Morse) Kimmel was born February 7, 1964 in Bay City, Michigan. Bethany worked at Meijer for over 13 years, had a big heart and was a very caring person to everyone she met. She loved her animals and was especially proud to be a new grandma.

Bethany is survived by her daughter, Karley Obermiller and her significant other, Sam Braun; grandson, Theodore Braun; siblings, Bruce Kimmel and his significant other, Roberta Coler and Michelle (Mick) Monville; nieces, Chelsea Kimmel, Jenae Prell, Michelle (Greg) Hall and Nicole (Brent) Wagner and many great nieces and nephews.

At the request of Bethany, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
