Betty B. Salois

Betty passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Bay Shores Nursing Home at the age of 94 years. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 21, 1926 to the late Clifford and Marie (Awe) Hartley. Betty married Robert Salois on June 12, 1948 at St. James Catholic Church and he passed away on January 4, 2005. She was the owner and operator of Salois Draperies until her retirement. Betty was a member of Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church and VFW Post 6950 Ladies Auxiliary.
Betty is survived by her children, Helen Brown, Irene Bureau and Colleen (Bradley) Geyer; daughter-in-law, Mary Salois; grandchildren, Ronald Gradowski, Rebecca (Ken) Madaj, Jennifer (Todd) Tinker, Matthew Gradowski, Robert (Kelly) Bureau, Chad (Rosalind) Geyer and Elizabeth (Luke) Schmidt; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her favorite neighbor, Lori Bryant and her daughters; sisters-in-law, Jane Landosky, Mary Lou Bleck, Ruth Wackerle and Karen Hartley and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Salois; sons-in-law, James Bureau and William Brown; granddaughter, Melissa Bureau and her eight siblings.
Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. We are currently under the governor's orders of 25 people in the chapel at one time and face masks are required. You may experience a wait time for the visitation. Mrs. Salois will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
