Beverly Ann (Ashmun) Donahue

Beverly Ann (Ashmun) Donahue passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on November 16, 2022 at McLaren Bay Regional Center. Beverly was such a kind and giving soul, dedicating her life to providing for and supporting her family. Her greatest joys in life were that of being a mother to her two daughters and a grandmother to her three grandchildren and numerous grand "furbabies". She is someone her family could always count on no matter what.

Beverly was born on November 24, 1942 in Caro, Michigan to the late Richard and Thelma (Goodell) Ashmun. Beverly graduated from Caro High School and went on to attend college at Delta and Central Michigan University. Beverly's greatest job came later in life when she was able to be a caregiver for her three grandchildren. Grandma Bev was such an important part of her grandchildren's lives, nurturing and caring for them as they grew up. Beverly loved spending time with her family especially around the holidays and at the lake on Sand Point every summer. As well as being kind, Beverly was so strong, surviving cancer in her early thirties and fighting heart and kidney disease in her later years.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (special friend Dennis Grusecki) Armstrong and Sherri (Andy) Bacigalupo, her grandchildren Thomas, Tyler and Sophia Bacigalupo, her sister Marcia (Wayne) Copeland and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her brother Rick Ashmun and son-in-law Rob Armstrong.

Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jamie Milton with private inurnment taking place at a later date at Indianfields Cemetery in Caro, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home and on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Westminster Presbyterian Church, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
