Berger (Kuch) J. Bonnie
Our beloved mom passed away on August 8, 2026 at the age of 82 at Symphony Tri-Cities. Bonnie was born October 28, 1943 and married the love of her life Kenneth Berger who preceded her in death at a young age of 48. Bonnie has resided in Bay City all of her life and has been a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Her faith in God was strong and evident in the love she had for her family and friends. Bonnie was an avid sports fanatic, she spent hours watching baseball, football and golf, when she couldn’t watch it, she taped it. She enjoyed bowling, golf and an occasional trip to the casino. Bonnie spent her entire work life at Bergers Family Restaurant. Her children, Bruce and Sue worked side by side until she retired at the age of 67. She loved talking to customers and the regulars became friendly acquaintances.
Bonnie is survived by her two children, Bruce (Michelle) Berger and Sue (Troy) Headings Berger; brother, Russ Kuch; sisters, Esther Nalevayko, Judy Swantek and Pauline Davis; brothers-in-law, Curt Berger and Louie Gwizdala; grandchildren, Marlo (Joe) Twarzynski, Steven (Megan) Novae Headings, Nathan Berger and his special person Kaela Foor, Jason (Brittaney) Headings and Jeremy (Nicole) Berger; two great grandchildren, Joey and Emillo Twarzynski and many nieces and nephews who she loved and cherished. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; father and mother, Edward and Emma (Appold) Kuch; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack Nalevayko, Richard Swantek, Dave Davis, Marion Gwizdala and Jan Berger.
The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to her niece, Beth (Kuch) Anderson and her friend and neighbor, Rusty Higgins for the love and compassion they gave to our mother during her stay at Symphony Tri-Cities.
