Brenda Jean Anderson

Brenda passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region. She was born March 1, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. She is survived by her husband Walter "Huncie" Anderson, four step children and their spouses; Julene and Roy Burson of Henderson, Nevada, and their children; Kristen and Melissa, Eric Anderson and Nancy of Durham, NC, Mary and Jim Varlick of Midland, MI and their children; Nicholas, Brittany, Ryan and Brendan, Jill and Bill Teberg of Crystal Lake, IL, and their children; Rachel, Gage and Kyle, her mother; Myrtle Wackerle of Linwood, MI, two sisters and their spouses; Jan and Mike Knochel, Bev and Dale Billingsley all of Pinconning, MI, her nieces and nephews; Scott and Carie Knochel of Pinconning, MI, Lindsay and Dan Ling of Avon lake, Ohio, Marla and Brian Kennedy of Saginaw, MI, Robyn and John Clemens of Auburn, MI, Brad and Teresa Billingsley of Pinconning, MI. She was preceded in death by her father; Willis Wackerle. Brenda retired from Razors Edge as a hair stylist after 42 years. She loved her great grandnieces and nephews; Alexandra, Brady, Drew, Ethan, Evan, Josh, Lakyn, Kaia, Trevin and Talan and became "Nana" to them. She also had a love for music and enjoyed listening to her husband play the piano. She also loved working in her flower gardens and home decorating. She was a graduate of Pinconning High School and Bayshire Beauty Academy. At the request of Brenda cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brenda's life will take place Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Dave Anderson of Midland Nazarene Church. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
