Mr. Olszowy passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence at the age of 65. Calvin was raised in Auburn by the late Clemence Olszowy and Nova (Coupie) Manczak was born September 9, 1955 in Bay City, Michigan. Calvin graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree in landscape design. His passion was in professional landscape design. Calvin's biggest project was designing the layout for the Auburn Jaycee and Chamber Park tree planting project. This project started in 2001 for the Auburn Corn Festival and was continued for several years with assistance from his twin brother Kevin. He will be remembered for his big heart and always helping the less fortunate.
Mr. Olszowy is survived by his seven siblings, Ronald J. Olszowy, Linda L. (Craig) Miles, Kenneth J. (Lorraine) Olszowy, twin brother, Kevin G. Olszowy, Janine M. Olszowy, Carol A. (Randy) Goodwin and Raymond D. Olszowy; step brother, Larry (Jane) Manczak; step sister, Joie (Joe) Welter; sister-in-law, Sylvia Olszowy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward P. Olszowy and his step father, Leonard Manczak.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Memorials for the Parkinson's Foundation will be available at the funeral home.  We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn.
