Candace Lea Blunt

Candace passed away early Wednesday morning, July 9, 2014 at St. Mary's of Michigan Medical Center in Saginaw following courageous battle with cancer. Age 51 years. She was born October 3, 1962 in Detroit, MI. Candace received her degree in electronics from Macomb College in Clinton, Township. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing, had a great love for the outdoors and watching tennis. Left to cherish her memory is her father; James F. Blunt Sr., her sisters and brother; Elizabeth "Beth" (Jeff) Gepert, James F. Blunt Jr. and Crystal Turner, two step-sisters; Brenda Lockhart and Theresa Sexton, two half-sisters; Christie Blunt and Lisa Harris, her Godchildren; Meranda and Jason Polger, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother; Juanita "Janie" (Minjares) Blunt and one sister; Kendall Kay Blunt. At Candace's request cremation has taken place. A Private Family Memorial Service will take place at Michigan Memorial Cemetery 32163 W. Huron Dr. Flat Rock, MI 48134. Candace will be laid to rest in the Catholic Section, Lot 25A, Sec 182 , Grave #5..
