Carol Irene O'Neil

Carol passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the age of 61. She was born on July 4, 1960 to the late Kloyce and Doloras (Maher) Vanderpool in Bay City, Michigan. Carol was a loving wife and she cherished her family very much. She loved spending time with her grandkids and children, and was always supportive of her family and the decisions they made. She had such a big heart and loved everyone. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
Carol is survived by her husband, James O'Neil, whom she married on May 16, 1987 and they have spent 35 wonderful years together creating memories that will last a lifetime. She is also survived by her children, Misty Vanderpool and David O'Neil; grandchildren, Breanna Vanderpool, Nathen Sadlak, James Vanderpool, Kyle O'Neil and Alex O'Neil; great grandchildren, Myles Sadlak, Chase Schatzer and Logan Insley; brothers, David Vanderpool and Roger Vanderpool; sister, Rose Kerkue and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose M. Cabrera. The family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday at the funeral from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
