Ceil passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at McLaren Bay Region, at the age of 76. The daughter of the late Eugene E. and Lucille H. (Michalak) Jozwiak was born July 6, 1950 in Bay City and has been a lifelong resident. Ceil was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish-St. Mary’s Church. Ceil retired from Bangor Township Schools as Library Assistant she found great joy in working in the library and getting the kids to read. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and reading.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Thomas H. “Tom” Wilson whom she married June 19, 1976; her brothers, Robert (Sandra) Jozwiak, Edward (Debbie) Jozwiak and Thomas (Terri) Jozwiak; her sisters -in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon (Duane) Dix, Mitch (Barb) Wilson, Jim (Annette) Wilson and Joyce Gavagan; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jean (Don) Scott; brother-in-law, John Gavagan and one niece.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Timothy Krzyzaniak with private interment following in St. Partick’s Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Ceil will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider donations to The Shriners Children’s Hospital or Wishes of the Family.
