Charles A. MacPhee Sr.

MacPhee, Charles A. Sr. Bay City, Michigan Charles passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 86 years. The son of the late George and Eva (Ligney) MacPhee was born March 11, 1930 in Bay City, MI. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish-St. Joseph Church. Charles retired from AT & T after many years of service. He was a member of Am Vets Post #22, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #169 and Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #1010. He had a great love for people, enjoyed socializing and working in his yard. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Left behind to cherish his memories are his children, Charles MacPhee Jr., Daniel (Mona) MacPhee and Cathleen (James) Paine; his grandchildren, Ryan, Anthony, Christopher, Brenden, Katrina, Spencer, Connor, Quinnlan and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Autumn and Alexis; one son-in-law, Daniel Spencer. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Joan B. MacPhee; one daughter, Cindy Spencer; one grandson, Collin Spencer; his brothers and sisters. At the request of Charles cremation has taken place. The family is planning a Memorial Service and it will be announced at a later time.
