Charles W. Sheppard

Charles passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 11, 2022, at the age of 70. The son of the late Wayne M. and Virginia R. (Johannes) Sheppard was born July 15, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan. Charles worked at Made Rite for several years and sold Aflac Insurance for 10 years. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group, was an avid golfer and golfed in many leagues and enjoyed taking his 1960 corvette to car shows.
Left to carry on his memories is his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sally Sheppard; his nieces and nephews, Mark A. (Jennifer) Ruegsegger, Matthew W. (Kerri) Ruegsegger, Sara A. (Josh) Werner, Ashley M. (Carl) Sheppard Knepfler, Adam R. (Nikki) Sheppard and Alexanderia D. (Gerardo) Sheppard Soriano; multiple great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Alan Ruegsegger.
At Charles request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will Rev. Eric Kieb. The family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
