Cheryl V. Morley

Cheryl passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Close to Home Assisted Living at the age of 77 years. She was born in Grayling, Michigan on June 23, 1944 to the late Gordon and Aileen (Purvis) Pond. On July 7, 1979 she married Jack O. Morley and they were married for 41 years until he passed away on October 16, 2020. Cheryl was an amazing cook, loved to listen to music, especially Elvis and enjoyed traveling. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and she loved spending time with them.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Angel (Corey) Klein, Sean (Amy) Mika, Katherine Richards, Kenneth Morley and Keith (Dianna) Morley; grandchildren, Madalyn Mika, Daniel Mika, Chase Derocher, Brandon Richards, Jack Morley and Joshua Morley; great-grandson, Logan Mika; sister, Candace Carver and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nicole Mika and brother, Larry Pond.
Visitation for Cheryl will take place on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. At the request of Cheryl's family, cremation will take place following the visitation.
