Clifford Charles Killips

KILLIPS, Clifford "Chuck" Charles of Bay City, Michigan. Clifford, age 77, passed away June 23, 2011 in Bay City. He was born July 21, 1933 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan to the late Clifford and Lois Killips. He was a graduate of Loretta High School in Sault Ste. Marie and served in the U.S. Army. He enlisted in the Michigan State Police in 1955 and served at several locations around the state including Bay City. He retired at the rank of Inspector in 1989 after 33 years of service. Clifford is survived by his wife, Marlene; four children; Steven (Susan) Killips, Richard (Mary Lynn) Killips, Catherine (Randall) Bickel, and Julie Killips; seven grandchildren; Daniel (Shana) Killips, Sarah (Michael) Helveston, Christopher (Cathryn) Bickel, Jennifer Bickel, Anne, Laura, and Meagan Killips; Three great-grandchildren; Ella and Olivia Killips, and Abram Helveston. Funeral services will take place Monday, June 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. Officiating will be Sister Mary Epple with a graveside committal following in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
