Conrad passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center with his children by his side at the age of 69. He was born on April 22, 1952 to Jesse and Consuelo (Zarazua) Carmona in Bay City, Michigan. He graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1970. Conrad owned and operated the Touch of Mexico restaurant for over 30 years. He was a great man of faith who loved the Lord with all his heart. He also loved taking his muscle cars to concerts and car shows all around the state. Conrad adored his granddaughters and enjoyed watching them play their sports and perform in their violin concerts.
Conrad is survived by his four children, Conrad Carmona Jr., Toni (Chris) Curtis, Isaac Carmona, and Gabriel Carmona; three granddaughters, Serena Carmona, Samantha Carmona, and Ryan Curtis; his mother, Consuelo Carmona; seven brothers and sisters, Theresa Zamora, Christina (Eliseo) Estrada, Delores Leff, Marcella (Muhammad) Rammal, Yolanda (Michael) Eddy, Richard (Debi) Carmona, and Robert (Becky) Carmona; and many nieces and nephews. Conrad was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Carmona; four brothers and sisters, Jesse "Super" Carmona Jr., Arturo Carmona, Patricia Carmona, and Anita Grimmer.
Visitation will take place Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Private burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
