Cynthia A. Lambert

Cynthia passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2026, at her home, at the age of 67. She was born on February 23, 1959, in Bay City, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Shirley Jarvis.

Cynthia had a special love for Detroit sports and could often be found cheering on her favorite teams, especially the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casino, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, Cynthia treasured her role as a grandmother and cherished every moment she shared with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jody Arnold, Brian Arnold, Amy Gilbert, Vanessa Gilbert, and Rachel Ruhl; her grandchildren, Tiana Gilbert, Shayla Gilbert, Braylen Gilbert, Bryson Gilbert, Isaiah Gilbert, Desmond House-Gilbert, Mariah Gilbert, Cynthia Arnold, Lillian Jones, Jackson Jones, Aurora Ruhl, and Lydia Ruhl; her brothers, Randy Jarvis, Dennis Jarvis, Jeff Jarvis, and Floyd Burns; her cousins, Kelly McDonald, Penny McDonald, and Lisa McDonald; sister-in-law, Nona Jarvis; nephews, Rocky Jarvis and B.J. Jarvis; and niece, Katrina Jones.

In accordance with Cynthia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy may consider making a contribution in accordance with the wishes of the family.
