Daniel A. Danks

Dan passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 26, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 53 years. He was born January 9, 1963 in Bay City MI. Dan worked for many years as an auto body technician. He had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a passion for auto racing, building hot rods and monster trucks and also enjoyed going fishing. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Molly A. Martin-Danks whom he married August 10, 2007; three children, Daniel Danks, Nicholas Danks and Bradie Danks; two step children, Sean Martin and Savannah Martin; his grandchildren, Damon Martin and Kiyanna Martin; his father, Donald (Judy) Danks; many brothers and sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine DeCourcy, his uncle, John Danks and his grandparents. At the request of Dan cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be The Rev. Sharon L. Volker. The family will be present at the funeral from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to wishes of the family.
