Daniel Howard Hardy

Dan passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Royal Oak, MI at the age of 62. He was born June 19, 1950 in Bay City, MI. He was retired from Amtrak as a station manager. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He is survived by his wife; Catherine J. Hardy, his mother; Ellen Hardy, his children and their spouses; Tim and Kristin Hardy, Jamison and Wendy Hardy and Melinda and Matthew Lebnick, his grandchildren; Noah, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Joshua, Jacob, Naomi, Julia and Aaron, three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Gwen and Bob Goehner, Joan Block and Sheri and LeRoy Schumann, his nieces and nephews; Scott, Adam, Kevin, Carl, Sarah and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert Howard Hardy and one brother-in-law; Dennis Block. A Memorial Service will take place Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church at 11:30 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
