Danny J. Blackburn

Danny passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Bay County Medical Care Facility in Essexville at the age of 68. He was born on August 23, 1957 to the late Jule and Muriel (McLain) Blackburn Jr. in Adrian, Michigan. He enjoyed building HAMM Radio Towers and model military Naval Ships. He loved listening to music, especially rock music. Most importantly, his grandchildren were his entire world. He had a gift for knowing exactly what to say when it mattered most. His thoughtful words, and love shaped generations, and his legacy will continue in every life he touched.

Danny is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Paul) Neumann and Erin (James) Green; grandchildren, Jaycob, Aubri, Jorden and Ava Lydic, Dominique and Connor Green; sister, Julie Blackburn; sisters-in-law, Kathy Blackburn and Rhonda Blackburn and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Connie (Lutz) Blackburn and brothers, Michael Blackburn and Bruce Blackburn.

A celebration of life for both Danny and Connie will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the celebration. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
