Dawn Thompson

Dawn passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at MyMichigan Health at the age of 61. The daughter of the late Richard and Shirley (Stanley) Jean was born March 12, 1961 in Bay City, Michigan. Dawn was retired from Meijer after 20 years of service and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, Drinking coffee and spending time with her grandson, Jackson.
Dawn is survived by her three children, Jamie (Andrew) Torrey, Justin R. Thompson and Ashley (Alexander) Brayman; one grandson, Jackson Torrey; two brothers, David (Janet) Jean and Mitchell Jean and one sister, Carrie Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thompson; one sister, Debra Schatzer and her grandson, Carter Torrey.
At the request of Mrs. Thompson cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
