Deborah Lynn Conklin

Deborah passed away peacefully at her home with her daughters by her side on Monday, November 15, 2021 at age 70. She was born on December 16, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. She graduated in 1967 from T.L. Handy High School in Bay City, Michigan. Deborah was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a mother to many others that were not her biological children. She was a loving, caring and giving person that everyone loved. She loved and adored her dog bear bear and cat, Hurley. Her hobbies included the outdoors, crocheting, sewing, reading and making all sweets. She retired from Kroger after 20 years. In her earlier years, she was a part of the American Legion Post 18 Woman's Auxiliary, a volunteer at Immanual Lutheran School and a Girl Scout troop leader.
Deborah is survived by Michellle Lynn Smith (Brian Smith), Tara Jean Conklin (James H. Coleman), Andrea Maria Spivey (William L. Spivey); sister, Gina Alane Mindykowski; brothers, Rodney Kyle Stothard and Walter (Mick) Mitchell Stothard. Her 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Deborah is preceded in death by her husband Kerry Albert Conklin; parents, Albert Walter Stothard and Freda Jean Stothard; brothers, Albert (Chip) Joseph Stothard and Bruce Alan Stothard.
In honoring the wishes of Deborah, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Memorial donations or flowers may be sent to the family's home at 804 Garfield Ave. Bay City, MI 48708.
