Dennis James Belknap

Dennis passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones on Friday, November 11, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 66, after a long battle with diabetes. He was born to the late James and Margret (Swain) Belknap on February 16, 1956 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a devoted family man and father, and was loved by so many. He loved listening to rock and roll music and was a very clever and witty guy.
Dennis is survived by his children, Rose (Robbie) Wright, Shane Belknap and Samantha Belknap; grandchildren, Michael and D'Anne Gorman, Tyler Wright and Noah Sitnic; great grandchildren, Landen, Braelyn and Niklaus Gorman; brother, Mike (Cheryl) Belknap; niece, Jenny Ballard; great nieces; Olivia and Eliza Ballard and close friend, Katie Pickvet.
In honoring the wishes of Dennis, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at New Testament Bethel Church (1215 Leng St. Bay City, MI). Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
