Mr. Dennis Lee Cole, of Bay City, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in West Branch, age 66. The son of the late Arthur F. & Estella M. (Crumbpacker) Cole, he was born February 10, 1948 in Cheboygan, MI. Dennis was currently employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Senior Home Health. He enjoyed photography, collecting frogs and reading. On April 16, 1977 Dennis married the former Susan Ann Anderson in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and she survives him. He loved spending time with his wife and together they operated SAC's Ceramics for 18 years.
Besides his wife Susan, Dennis is also survived by his daughter, Stacy Cole; two grandsons; a brother, Gerald Cole; his two sisters, Sharon (Jack) Wicke and Irene (Vern) Riley; his sister-in-law, Kristine Van Mullekom; his brother-in-law, John (Darlene) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Dennis was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Cole; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Virginia & Joseph Anderson; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Van Mullekom.
The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. George J. Serour. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
