Diann Jean Jacobs

Diann passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 75. The daughter of the late Charlie and Arlene (Kohn) Daniels was born February 21, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Diann retired as a proud bus driver for Bangor Township Schools, where she loved all of the children on her bus. She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, researching genealogy, had a great love for Jesus, dolphins, the color blue and volunteering at the Life Clinic, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Diann is survived by her daughter, Julie Jacobs; granddaughter, Breanna Cardinal; great granddaughters, Braxlynn, Scarlett and Marcella; three sisters, Kathy Spiker, Charlene (Greg) Schmidt and Cheryl (Jim) Schlink; brothers-in-law, Greg (Linda) Jacobs, Michael Jacobs and Philip Jacobs and his significant other, Cindy; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; special friends, the Panko family, Karen (Ralph) Carlson and Stacey Doud. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis “Jake” Jacobs, whom she married on May 6, 1978; son, Jamie Jacobson; brother, Kenneth “Bob” Stanley; brother-in-law, Daniel Spiker and other brothers and sisters-in-law; nephews, Kyle Schmidt and Henry Schlink and her best friend, Florence Grauherr.

At the request of Diann, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
