Donald Paul Reder

Don passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at MyMichigan Health at the age of 68. The son of the late Albin and Dorothy (Klosowski) Reder was born December 1, 1953 in Bay City, Michigan. Don was retired from Dow as an instrument tech/electrician. He instilled strong values in his children which was very important to him. He also loved hunting and taking trips out west with his friends. He was a very dependable and giving person. Everyone in the family would contact him for help on anything, loved his humor and great stories, and will be missed dearly by everyone.
Left to cherish his memories are his four children, Ann (Travis) Forde, Laura (Roger) Trader, Ben (Karolyn) Reder and Katie (Corey) Reder; grandchildren, Louie Domerese, Andrew Reder, Bethany Reder, Simon Reder, Maple Reder, Sylvia Reder, Rosalie Reder, Timothy Trader, Claire Trader, Lilah Trader and Kalie Trader; great grandchildren, Gracie, Cynthia, Theodore and Victoria; brothers and sisters, Sue (Lee) Shinkel, Ken (Magaly) Reder, Vicki Scheddel, Jane (Mark) Grzegorczyk, John (Laurie) Reder, Judy (Ken) Kram, Mary (Chuck) Baumer, Chuck (Marty) Reder, Tim (Denee) Reder and Laurie Gunther; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Tammy Penkala and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents Don was also preceded in death by his daughter, Bethany Jo Reder; brother, Bob Reder; sister, Lisa Penkala and his brother-in-law, Gary Scheddel.
At the request of Don, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Fisherville. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
