Donald M. Westover

Mr. Donald M. Westover passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Brian's House. Age 76 years. He was born February 25, 1934 in Bay City and has resided in this area all of his life. He was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, retired from Saginaw Steering Gear Plant # 2. Don was especially proud of graduating from T.L. Handy Class of 1953 and served with the United States Army. Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years the former Geri M. Sprywa, six nieces; Judy (John) Tomke, Dr's Mary (Tom) Neumann, Nancy (Walid) Ramlawi, Peggy (Paul) Nordman, Julie (Matt) Feinauer and Mary (Gregg) Jerome, a sister-in-law; Jeanette Karr, special friends; Dick & Carol Schmidt and Tom Janowicz, a special cousin; Margaret Loesche, and his dog; Candy. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Adam & Nellie (Lane) Westover, a brother, James Jackett and a sister; Eva Spink. "The tall, skinny guy wearing the Pittsburgh Steelers jacket and walking his dog in the Salzburg area is gone." The funeral service will take place at 10:00am on Monday July 5, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Kevin N. Kerbawy. Private interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00pm and on Monday from 9:00am until time of service.
