Donna M. Cobb

Donna Marie Cobb went home to be with her Lord and Savior, June 14th, 2021. She was born on April 16th, 1927, to her mother and father, John and Mildred Maxson. She lived on a farm in Pinconning, Michigan most of her childhood. She met and married her husband, Bonnie L. Cobb on October 9th, 1948. They shared 46 years of married life and raised three children, Sharon, Thomas and Carol. Donna was a longtime member of the Fraser Road Church of God. She served as treasurer, nursery attendant and participated in nursing home ministries. She very rarely turned someone down when asked to do anything.
Donna is survived by her children, Sharon (Patrick) Newton, Thomas (Kathleen) Cobb and Carol (Fred) Krzyzaniak; seven grandchildren, Steve (Jenni) Newton, Becky (Chris) McKeoun, Heidi (Kacey) Bentley, Ryan Cobb, Kelly Newton, Shane (Kayla) Cobb and Jessica (Brian) Stein; nine great grandchildren, Autumn, Abby and Ethan McKeoun, Rylee and Renae Bentley, Ashlynn Newton, Taylor and Tyler Cobb and Ella Stein; sister, Shirley Smith and brother, Kenneth Maxson. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father; her sisters, Alice, Violet and JoAnn; and brothers, Robert, John and Allen.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Fraser Road Church of God. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Webb and Gerald Johnston. Interment will take place in Mount Forest Cemetery, Pinconning. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Cobb will be taken to the church to lie in state on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 65 visitors in the chapel at one time.
