Donna May Geno

Donna passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 87. She was born on September 2, 1936 to the late Albin and Regina (Herek) Dominowski in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of St. Boniface Church and a member of the League of Catholic Men and Women. Donna married Al Geno on June 25, 1955 at St. Boniface Church and they spent 55 years together before his passing in 2010. She retired from AT&T after many years of service. She enjoyed reading, Hallmark movies and visiting with friends.

Donna is survived by her two children, Kimberly Geno and Mark (Jennifer) Geno; grandchildren, Nicholas (Jenni) Francis, Craig (Kelly) Francis, Eric Francis, Brianne (Tom) Kuligoski, Adriana (Logan) Kelly and Jacob Geno; six great grandchildren, Brighton, Blake, Brody and Bentley Francis and Seth and Alex Kuligoski; first great-great grandchild on the way; two sisters, Camille (LeRoy) Birdsall and Madeline (Robert) Glaza and brother, Wally (Wendy) Dominowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Al Geno and son, Rick Alan Geno.

Funeral Mass for Donna will be taking place on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Church with interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Gephart Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Donna’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
