Donna Jean Harken (Brewer)

Donna passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Covenant Healthcare - Cooper with her family by her side, at the age of 77. She was born on May 18, 1944 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late John and Marion (Potter) Brewer. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life, she loved spending time with them. Donna also loved spending time at the family cabin and spending her weeks at the Sand Castle Beach Resort Condo in Fort Myers, Florida. She loved her crafts and was very skilled.
Donna is survived by her Husband, Robert Harken, whom she married on January 18, 1964 and they spent 57 wonderful years together. She is also survived by her children, John Harken, Debra (Brian) Ora, Dale Harken and Michael Harken who she will be joining in Heaven; grandchildren, Jennifer Merry, Erika Bouza, Brooke Bouza, Jessica Harken, Sarah Harken, Megan Harken, Karly Ora, Brandon Ora and Bayard Harken; great grandchildren, Hank Merry and Sloane Ortega; brothers, Jack Brewer and Dan Brewer; special cousins Kevin (Sandy) Mixer and special friends, Sandy Borgman and Cyndi Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Burt Brewer and Jerry Brewer.
A private memorial service will be taking place at Corpus Christ Parish. Rev. Officiating will be Fr. Robert J. Kelm. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Bob and Donna's house for anyone who would like to join in celebrating the wonderful life Donna had lived. Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Parish.
