Donna Marie Kasper

Mrs. Kasper passed away peacefully Monday April 4, 2022, at her home with her family at her side at the age of 93.  She was born January 1, 1929, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Hilma and Serenus Johnson. Donna formerly attended the Evangelical Free Church. On June 24, 1950, she married her husband of sixty-two years, Clyde Kasper and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2012.
Donna is survived by her four children and their spouses, Karen and Dave Cox of Midland, James and Nancy Kasper of Bay City, Susan Sweebe of Midland, Joanne and Jim Leonard of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Mike (Christa) Kasper, Jon Kasper, Beth (Daryl) Raasch, Scott Plachta, Patrick Plachta and Jordan Leonard; great grandchildren, Jack and Alex Plachta, Madeline and Dylan Raasch, Alexis, Matthew and Bishop Kasper and Ava Kasper; sister, Ruth VanGuilder; brother-in-law; Ronald and Bonnie Kasper of Bay City.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Scott Michael Kasper; sister, Alda (Glenn) Hill and brothers, Raymond (Betty) and Lennart (Bonnie) Johnson.
Funeral service will take place Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor David Hill with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Contributions may be made to Midland Evangelical Free Church.
