Doris M. Carrier

Doris passed away at the King’s Daughters Home in Midland on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the age of 93. The daughter of the late Hubert and Amelia (Talbot) Carrier was born August 2, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan. Doris was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, an avid traveler and a big Detroit Tigers fan.

Doris is survived by her sister, Ruth Verhaeghe; two Goddaughters, Carol (Jeff) Walikangas and Paula (Arthur) Wasek; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Carrier and her brother-in-law, George Verhaeghe.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace Parish. Private inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace Parish from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial cards for King’s Daughters Home or Careline Hospice will be available at the church.
