Dorothy Lucy Howden

Mrs. Howden passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her home with her family by her side at the age of 83. Daughter to the late Unberto "Al" and Clara (Inbriglio) Gentile on April 22, 1939 in West Warrick, Rhode Island. Dorothy enjoyed playing euchre, bingo, expressing her sarcasm, going to the casino where she would play the slot machines, campfires, visiting the east coast, her dogs Lulu and Teddy and spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her four children, Kevin (Debbie) Malenfant, Brenda Malenfant, Jimmy Watson and Bonnie Lou Watson; sister, Toni Iannitelli; grandchildren, Crystal (Jon) Lock, and Anthony Malenfant; great grandchildren, Colin Lock, Carter Lock, Lily Lock; nieces and nephews, Francis Lanoue, Lynn Hawkins, Ernest Iannitelli, Cynthia Oliver, Tracy Horn and Deborah Jernquist; many cousins; and best friend, Vicky Diaz. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Omer Malenfant; husband, Duane Howden; daughter, Clara Watson; sister, Pauline Siniscalchi; brother, Al Gentile.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Brandon Bechert. Private interment will take place at a later date at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Gephart Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to the First Pentecostal Church.
