Dorothy Northcott Mosher

Dorothy passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 with her family by her side at the age of 95. She was born on March 12, 1927 to late Stanley and Pauline Northcott in Bay City, Michigan. Dorothy attended Bay City Central high school and attended business college. She then began working as a secretary for Industrial Brownhoist, the FBI, Army Corps of Engineers and for Dow Chemical Company. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, spending time with her family and dogs.

Dorothy is survived by her son, John Murphy; daughter, Julie Murphy; grandson, Brandon Murphy; step-daughter, Shelley Glocksine; step-son, William Mosher Jr.; niece, Marcia Andrews and nephew, Don Patrick Jr. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, William Mosher Sr.; step-daughter, Tamera Johnson and siblings, Jerry Huckins, Patricia Northcott Koerber, Stanley Northcott Jr., Virginia Northcott Patrick, Eugene Northcott and Pauline Northcott McKinney.

Visitation will take place Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. private entombment will take place at Floral Gardens Mausoleum at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
