Douglas M. Schroeder "Doug"

Doug passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, February 5, 2024 in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 72. He was born on March 14, 1951 in Miami, Florida. Doug and his family moved to Bay County where he was raised and lived there most of his life. He had a good life, full of experiences and many challenges, which he always pushed through with the help of God. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed reading his books.
Doug was a good and loving husband to his wife of 26 years, Nancy Schroeder. He was a good father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved each and every one of his family members. He leaves behind some precious friends, that he cherished so very much.
In honoring the wishes of Doug, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. The family cannot thank the Veterans enough for all that they did for Doug. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bay County Veterans Council.
