Dr. Bruce A. De Boe DC passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his residence with his family by his side at the age of 71 years. He was born in Holland, Michigan on January 12, 1950 to the late Gerald and Harriet (De Vree) De Boe. Bruce married the former Pam Corbin on June 10, 2017 in Midland. Attended Holland High School and graduated in 1968. He then attended Hope College in Holland Michigan, Lincoln College of Chiropractic in Indianapolis and then National College of Chiropractic in Lumbard, Illinois. He owned and operated De Boe Chiropractic in Bay City for over 40 years. Bruce was a founding member of the Bay Valley Corvette Club and a former member of the Kiwanis Club. Bruce loved his family and enjoyed spending time taking care of his cars and spending time with the club.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Shannon De Boe; grandchildren, Michael Jr and Gianna Metsger; step children, Bill Taber, Melissa (Matt) Schiller and Martin (Julie) Fleminger; step grandchildren, Adeline and Lucas Taber, Nathan and Joshua Schiller, Hayley (Thomas) Wissner, Courtney and Ashley Fleminger, Adam (Amanda) Fleminger and Nicholas (Katelyn) Fleminger; step great grandchildren, Greyson, Alec and Ashton Fleminger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Green and sister, Linda Kay De Boe.
Per Bruce's wishes cremation has taken place, a memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Michael DeRuyter. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 until the time of the service.
